What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handling Team Lead - 6:00am - 2:30pm position at Beckman Coulter Life Sciences?
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Create schedule for team to follow for efficient workload distribution.
- Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance
- Will need to work cross functionally to accomplish daily goals.
- Able to learn multiple material handling positions and fill in when a team member is not available.
- Examine, monitor and audit stock and distribute materials.
- Adhere to the policy of our materials systems.
The essential requirements for the job include:
- 2 years of leadership experience
- 2 years of experience in inventory control required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Able to read, understand and adhere to detailed policies, instructions and procedures
- 2 years of experience in Materials Handler position
Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Able to stand, bend and/ or kneel per job requirement.
- Able to work and use Powered Industrial Trucks, pallet jacks and or climbing ladders.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Safety shoes required and safety glasses required on work floor.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- 2 years of experience in inventory control
- 2 years of experience operating a reach stacker, wave truck and or pallet truck
- Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Oracle
