Inside Sales/Counter Sales (MUST HAVE AG EXP)

Job Title: Inside Sales

**Bilingual speaking proficiency in Spanish/English strongly preferred for this position. Previous experience or knowledge about Agriculture products is REQUIRED. Must be willing to learn the warehouse process from pulling, receiving, stocking, inventory, and freight prior to learning counter sales as to have a better understanding of the process.**

Role: This position is responsible for assisting customers with product orders via face-to-face interactions, over the phone, or through other electronic communications. It is the responsibility of this role to be knowledgeable in the area of agricultural products in order to provide quality, accurate customer service tailored to the specific customer’s needs.

Job Duties:

• Utilize Company software and equipment to write and process customer orders
• Accurately handle customer payments processing them through the Accounting department when necessary
• Answer incoming calls to the Company, routing them to the appropriate individual
• Exercise discretion and good judgement regarding daily work, including prioritizing customer needs and urgency of orders
• Create a positive relationship with customers by providing product recommendations and product knowledge
• Direct on-site counter traffic to the appropriate staff
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: [Education, Credentials, Certifications]

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior sales experience with an emphasis in the agriculture industry
• A minimum of 2 years’ Customer Service experience required
• Passing an employment drug screening after employment offer is extended
• Willing to undergo a background check after employment offer is extended
• Bilingual speaking proficiency in Spanish/English strongly preferred
• Provide satisfactory evidence of your ability to work in the United States

Physical Demands:

• Must be able remain standing for sustained periods of time
• Worker is subject to environmental conditions both inside and outside
• Worker is subject to warehouse conditions with narrow aisles or passageways.
• Climbing, Ascending or descending ladders, using feet, legs and/or hand and arms
• Lifting objects from a lower to higher position weighing up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
• Grasping with fingers to lift product
• Travel is less than 10%
