Mechanical Service Engineer II
Job Overview:
You will collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams, serving as the subject matter expert for our servo-electric and hydraulic press systems. In this role, you will support our service technicians in the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and retrofitting our installed presses

Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Use testing tools, software, and technical expertise to identify system failures and implement effective solutions.
- Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission press systems at customer sites, ensuring proper operation and compliance with specifications.
- Retrofits & Upgrades: Design and implement structural and hydraulic press system retrofits, improving efficiency, automation, and performance.
- Field Service & Customer Support: Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting for hydraulic presses, minimizing downtime and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Preventive Maintenance & Optimization: Guide customers on appropriate courses of action to ensure optimal press performance and extended life
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed service reports, including diagnostics, parts usage, and maintenance recommendations.
- Technical Support & Training: Provide customers with hands-on training, technical assistance, and operational guidance to maximize system uptime.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, most commonly Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5-7 years industry experience without a bachelor’s degree
- Self-starter who is adaptable to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an interactive group environment are essential.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment with part of the time in the plant. The employee is regularly exposed to a variety of conditions within the plant including hot and cold temperatures. The noise level is usually moderate.
