Job Title: Producer (Running Event Focus) – Experiential Marketing

Department/Team: Production

Reports To: Senior Producer

Role Overview: As a Producer at BeCore, you'll spearhead the execution of projects, translating creative concepts

into captivating real-life productions. Collaborating closely with our Creative, Strategy, Client Services teams, you'll

oversee all aspects of production, from pre-planning to onsite execution and post-event evaluation.

We are seeking a Producer with a strong background in planning and executing running events, such as 5Ks,

marathons, and endurance races. Candidates should have an active interest in running and an understanding

of event logistics specific to endurance sports. This role will require close collaboration with internal teams and

external partners to bring running-focused activations to life.

Key Responsibilities

Project Development:

  • Collaborate with the Production Strategist, Client Services team, and Creative team during development

phases.

  • Participate in production working sessions and internal reviews, contributing insights on production and

operational aspects for client pitches.

  • Support the Production Strategist in converting creative concepts into detailed budgets, project timelines, and

project teams.

  • Participate in the development of running-focused events, ensuring production plans align with endurance

race logistics.

  • Work with vendors, city officials, and permitting agencies to secure racecourse approvals, hydration stations,

medical support, and other key race components.

  • Assist in developing race-day timelines, working with operations teams to ensure smooth execution.

Budget & Timeline Management:

  • Manage budgets and timelines for projects up to $500k, sourcing estimates and managing vendor contracts.
  • Ensure adherence to budget allocations, track expenses, and maximize project profitability by managing

scope and scope changes effectively in partnership with the Client Services team.

  • Oversee project reconciliation and final closeout processes.
  • Ensure compliance with event permitting requirements, safety regulations, and logistical constraints for

endurance events.

Project Management:

  • Lead or support the execution of running events, overseeing race-day logistics including start/finish line

setup, runner check-in, and volunteer coordination.

  • Opportunity to lead the execution of one or more projects concurrently, overseeing tasks and delegating to a

project assigned team of 1 – 2 other producers.

  • Support Lead Producers of projects, leading verticals of responsibilities within the team.
  • Support the management of client relationships in partnership with Client Services, communicating effectively

to exceed expectations and drive business growth.

  • Source and manage vendor partners, ensuring seamless execution of project deliverables.
  • Collaborate across departments, facilitating communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise onsite staff for project execution.
  • Create internal and external production documents for detailed planning of every project and accurate

communication to clients and partners.

  • Identify scope changes and opportunities, and work with Client Services to develop a plan of action.
  • Support the delivery of the final Pre-Production Check to the VP of Production prior to executing onsite.
  • Travel onsite to oversee setup, execution, and breakdown of projects.

Administrative:

  • Execute internal production processes efficiently, including time tracking, expense management, partner payment processing, and data entry into project planning tools
  • Provide insight to VP of Production and Senior Producers of production process to improve planning tools, procedures, and communication protocols.
  • Attend team meetings regularly, providing updates and insights on project statuses.

Qualifications:

  • Experience planning or managing running events, marathons, or endurance-based activations is required.
  • Strong knowledge of race logistics, permitting, course setup, and race-day operations.
  • Active interest in running and knowledge of the running community preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience in Special Events, Event Production, or Experiential Marketing.
  • Strong understanding of event production processes, including budgeting and timeline management.
  • Strong project management skills, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Notion.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and creative approach to challenges.

Demands & Expectations:

  • 25% travel expected.
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours based on event schedules.
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Physical requirements including sitting for extended periods, standing/walking for onsite work, occasional lifting/moving of up to 25 pounds.
  • Must have personal vehicle for occasional local travel; mileage compensation provided.

Salary : $500,000
