About Us
Becq is a small but growing company specializing in custom radiation shielding materials, radiation shielding engineering, and radiation shielding design services. Our work supports nuclear equipment manufacturers, commercial nuclear power plants, and national laboratories. We are looking for a motivated individual to assist with a broad range of tasks and activities including administrative tasks, sales efforts, and project support to help streamline operations and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support:
· Handle day-to-day office tasks such as scheduling, document preparation, data entry, and correspondence.
· Assist in managing records, contracts, and regulatory documentation.
· Support internal operations, including procurement, invoicing, and inventory tracking.
· Utilize QuickBooks for AP/AR support, expense tracking, invoicing, and financial reporting.
· Support Quality Assurance documentation and preparation.
Sales & Business Development:
· Assist in identifying and pursuing sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
· Maintain CRM records, generate quotes, and follow up on leads.
· Support proposal preparation and customer communication.
Project Administration:
· Coordinate project documentation, including tracking deliverables and deadlines.
· Assist in preparing reports, technical documents, and compliance paperwork.
· Liaise between customers, engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications & Experience
· Experience in an administrative, sales, or project support role.
· Familiarity with national laboratories, nuclear medicine, nuclear power plants, or radiation shielding is strongly preferred.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, small-business environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM systems.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Experience in Quickbooks is appreciated
· Experience in a nuclear company with NQA.1 is appreciated
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in technical sales or working with government contracts.
· Knowledge of radiation shielding materials, nuclear regulations, or related technical fields.
· Prior experience working with the DOE, national labs, or commercial nuclear industry.
