Job Details
Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies is hiring a part-time Delivery Driver. The hours are Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until deliveries are complete, typically 9:00 p.m. or later. Additional hours may be available Monday through Friday in the evening.
Job Summary
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery, set up, and pick up of Home Medical Equipment (HME), medical supplies, and pharmaceuticals to Bedard patients and commercial accounts (group homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, etc.).
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current State of ME Class C Driver's License with good driving record
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- Ability to use GPS navigation system and smartphone
- Good customer service skills
- Strong communication skills with capacity to make independent decisions
- Neat personal appearance with pleasing manner and interpersonal skills
- Command of written and verbal English language
- Previous delivery experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to enter and exit cab of vehicle up to 50 or more times per shift
- Exposure to various weather conditions
- Frequent/continuous reaching, grasping, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs. below waist level and at or above shoulder level
- Repetitive walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
