The Consumer Insights Analyst will support Keeco’s insights capabilities by analyzing data and providing valuable consumer and market insights to help drive sales and marketing strategies. This role will focus on identifying trends, analyzing consumer behavior, synthesizing data into compelling stories, and providing actionable insights to executive leadership and cross-functional teams to guide decision-making across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Includes the following, other duties may be assigned)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze consumer, market, and sales data from multiple sources (including Keeco proprietary data and syndicated data such as Circana) to identify trends and insights.
- Conduct in-market data capture at various retailers to build category performance stories and track competitive landscape changes.
- Compile and analyze in-market data biannually to create comprehensive customer insights and storytelling.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills and data visualization tools to translate complex datasets into actionable insights and presentations for key stakeholders.
- Develop regular and ad hoc reports summarizing key findings, including consumer shopping behaviors, product performance, and category growth opportunities.
- Lead ad hoc consumer insights projects such as focus groups, packaging studies, and customer feedback analysis to support product development and marketing strategies.
- Gathering insights from customer feedback tools like Bazaarvoice, identifying high-level trends and areas for improvement in existing products.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive intelligence, and evolving consumer preferences to anticipate shifts in the market.
- Collaborate with merchandising and product development teams to integrate consumer insights into the product lifecycle.
- Serve as the company’s Circana data expert, leading in-depth analysis on sales performance, market share shifts, and evolving consumer purchasing patterns.
- Create and deliver quarterly reports on sales, share movement, and competitive landscape to inform business planning and strategy.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure insights are effectively leveraged in business planning, sales, merchandising, and category management discussions.
- Provide insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making across marketing, sales, and product teams.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, visually engaging presentations for executive leadership, sales teams, and brand partners.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Science, Market Research, Business Analytics, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis techniques and statistical methods such as predictive analysis, cluster analysis, and market research techniques.
- Experience working with syndicated data sources such as Circana, IRI, or Nielsen.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLookup, data modeling, formulas).
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and effectively communicate findings to executive leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
