Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the Dietary Department, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans that meet the nutritional needs of residents.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess dietary requirements and preferences.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to create individualized meal plans that align with residents' health goals.
- Provide health coaching to residents, promoting healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.
- Oversee budgeting for the Dietary Department, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining high-quality service.
- Lead and train dietary staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on resident care and satisfaction.
- Monitor food preparation and service to ensure adherence to dietary guidelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Certification as a Dietary Manager or equivalent qualification is required.
- Strong knowledge of physiology as it relates to nutrition and dietetics.
