Job Summary:
Schedules shifts using computer software; communicates with employees via telephone and text; works at a fast pace responding to a high volume of calls with the ability to multi-task to satisfy clients; communicates with employees and clients on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
Must have a professional speaking voice; ability to deal with employees and clients in a respectful and professional manner; must be able to multi-task; must have excellent recall of conversations; must have legible handwriting; Computer skills are a must (must be able to understand software and scheduling systems)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviews employee roster and all schedules on a daily basis
- Reviews the on-call report on a daily basis
- Communicates with nursing staff daily, regarding schedules for Nursing Assistants, Certified Nurse Aides, Registered Nurses, and Licensed Professional Nurses
- Documents staffing requests to ensure staffing needs are met
- Coordinates schedules with staff weekly and monthly depending on the needs of the facilities and clients
- Reviews schedules with staff to ensure there will be no discrepancies
- Maintains a log of call-ins, tardiness and excuses provided
- Notifies Supervisor of any on the job injuries or health issues he/she may be made aware of while attempting to schedule employees
- Provides information to Payroll/Billing to assist in the billing process
- Performs any other duties as needed, assigned and qualified
