Job Summary
To provide a well organized, smoothly functioning tutoring environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials.
Essential Duties
- Reviews and organizes review materials and activities under the supervision of a licensed teacher.
- Works with small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher.
- Assists individual children in need of special attention.
- Assist in drill work.
- Assists with reading and storytelling.
- Teaches and reinforces study skills and test taking strategies with small groups of students
- Performs such other duties and assumes such other responsibilities as the Principal may assign.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and / or Abilities Required)
Must be a high school graduate and demonstrated an aptitude for the work to be performed. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
