In this pivotal role, you will lead the planning and execution of a wide variety of activities and programs designed to support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents. As we embark on this new chapter, you will help shape the recreation services that make a lasting, positive impact on our community.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, organize, and execute a wide range of recreational programs, including arts and crafts, games, physical activities, music therapy, seasonal events, and outings tailored to the needs and interests of our residents.
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical teams to ensure that activities are personalized and suitable for residents’ health and cognitive abilities.
- Lead and supervise a team of recreation assistants and volunteers to deliver high-quality programs.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure activities align with resident preferences and enhance their daily experiences.
- Maintain records of resident participation and feedback to evaluate the success of programs and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure that all activities are conducted safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
- Foster a warm, inviting, and inclusive atmosphere where residents feel motivated to participate and engage.
- Organize and celebrate special events, holidays, and milestones to create a positive, festive environment for residents and families.
