Staffing Coordinator
Bedford Hills Center is seeking a dedicated and organized Staffing Coordinator to join our team! We need a reliable and detail-oriented individual to help coordinate staffing schedules and ensure we have the right team in place to meet the needs of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the staffing of nursing and support staff to ensure proper coverage across all shifts
- Work closely with department heads to meet staffing needs and resolve scheduling conflicts
- Maintain accurate records of employee availability, shift assignments, and attendance
- Communicate scheduling changes to staff efficiently and in a timely manner
- Monitor compliance with facility policies, state, and federal regulations
- Provide administrative support to nursing and management teams as needed
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in staffing coordination or scheduling in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in staffing software or scheduling systems is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
