Bedford Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Nursing Unit Manager to lead our compassionate team! In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents while fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership : Oversee and coordinate comprehensive resident care within the unit, ensuring adherence to individualized care plans.
Collaboration : Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to design, implement, and evaluate programs that enhance resident well-being.
Staff Management : Verify daily staffing levels and provide guidance and support to nursing personnel, encouraging professional development and excellence in care.
Resident Assessment : Conduct regular rounds to assess resident conditions and ensure the implementation of necessary interventions.
Communication : Facilitate effective communication among nursing staff regarding resident care, conditions, and other important matters affecting resident well-being.
Quality Assurance : Participate in quality assurance activities and help implement best practices to continuously improve care standards.
Emergency Response : Address any emergencies that arise during your shift, ensuring swift and effective action.
Training and Development : Reinforce training and orientation for nursing staff and provide ongoing support and evaluation.
Qualifications :
- Valid Nursing License (LPN / RN) in the state of New Hampshire.
- Proven experience in a nursing leadership role, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to resident-centered care and a passion for improving the quality of life for our residents.
