Barista/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and ensuring that every customer has a memorable experience. This role requires strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso beverages with precision and care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations/equipment.
• Engage with customers, ensure accurate orders and provide recommendations.
• Handle transactions with Square POS.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as necessary.
• Uphold company standards for quality, service, and cleanliness at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is required.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Genuine passion for coffee and willingness to learn about techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
