What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slasher Helper position at Bedford Weaving, Inc?
Company Description
Nestled in the historic town of Bedford, Virginia, Bedford Weaving has been a staple in the community for many years. After starting as a silk weaving mill in the 1930s, Belding-Heminway, one of the oldest textile companies founded in this country, purchased the company. Belding-Heminway continued to operate until Mr. Garbarini purchased the business in 1982 and the company has continued to see success and growth through subsequent generations of the Garbarini family.
Belding-Hemingway played an important role in the manufacturing of thread for parachutes during WWII1. The Garbarini family has kept this rich tradition alive today by continuing to supply to companies that produce American made products.
