As a Freelance Logistics Assistant / Art Handler, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day of the Logistics Department.

Primary Job Responsibilities :

  • Handle, move, wrap, pack, and crate retail fixtures, decorative arts, and / or furniture.
  • Install / uninstall for onsite projects.
  • Load / unload trucks to ensure safe transit.
  • Plan, organize, and pack trucks to ensure the utmost safety of objects during transit.
  • Assist all facets of the Logistics Department, which includes but is not limited to : Quality Control of elements, Logistics needs (Loading and unloading trucks), and shop assistance with departmental tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Ability to work flexible hours based on project needs.
  • 2 years experience with Art Handling or similar.
  • Team Player, able to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly or cart, as well as 60 pounds without mechanical aid.
  • Ability to carry 40 pounds of varying sizes and shapes up to a distance of 90 feet.
  • Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead.
  • Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, jbars, dollies, and other necessary warehouse equipment.
