What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Nursing Assistant position at Bedrock at Home Nevada?
We are searching for an experienced CNA to provide compassionate care to the elderly and to SNF, Rehab. LTAC patients. Your tasks will include listening to and conversing with the patient, helping them with grooming, and providing regular, personal bedside care to ensure that their quality of life is as comfortable as possible.
Duties of a CNA include :
Communicating and tracking medical changes
Bathing and dressing
Personal care, including hair, skin, oral and nails
Helping with toileting or incontinence care
Light meal preparation and light housekeeping
Tasks to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
Spending time with patients and educating family members
The hospice team
Hospice qualifications
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credentials and current good standing with the state of Nevada
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule, to include some evenings and weekends as needed
Comfortable driving to assigned Hospice patients in extreme weather (hot / cold conditions)
Ability to apply sound or good judgment to carry out instructions
High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information
Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance
A heart for providing compassionate care

18.00 - $22.00 per hour
