We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Admission Coordinator in our Skilled Long-term Care facility located in Merrit Island, Florida .
Admission Coordinator Overview :
As the Admission Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the hospital liaisons and admissions directors as well as facilitating smooth admissions to the facility.
Admission Coordinator Key Duties :
- Review all incoming admission face sheets for accurate insurance information.
- Complete internal documentation and preparing medical records for admission.
- Complete insurance verification forms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Admission Coordinator Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with insurance verification in a hospital or skilled; post-acute preferred.
- Working knowledge of healthcare registration, insurance referral and authorization processes.
- Knowledge of medical terminology. Experience with Point Click Care or other electronical medical record system.
