Salary : $55-58 per hour
Job Description :
Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team at our Island Location in Merritt Island, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing physical therapy services and programs in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care facilities. You will work closely with administration, medical, nursing, and other departments to ensure the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities :
- Direct the physical therapy department and its programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with administration, medical, and nursing teams to plan and implement therapy services.
- Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to physical therapy standards.
- Oversee staffing needs, recruiting, and selecting qualified physical therapy personnel.
- Train new and less experienced staff.
- Assist physicians in evaluating patients' levels of function.
- Perform patient assessments, including range of motion, muscle strength, gait, and function analysis.
- Design and administer physical therapy programs to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
- Document evaluations, plans of care, clinical notes, and progress reports.
