Location: Live Oak, FL
Salary: $22-$25 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Management: Generate and oversee staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage, addressing staffing shortages proactively and minimizing overtime. Collaborate with department heads to accommodate specific needs or requests.
- Attendance and Payroll: Maintain precise attendance records, review and verify weekly punch details for accuracy, calculate certified hours for nursing staff, and oversee payroll adjustments or corrections. Ensure timely submission of payroll reports.
- Employee Communication: Maintain and regularly update a detailed directory of clinical care employee contact information. Act as the central point of contact for staff schedule inquiries and changes.
- Compliance and Reporting: Monitor compliance with staffing regulations and policies. Prepare and submit staffing reports as required by the facility management or regulatory authorities.
- Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the Staffing Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator to execute additional tasks and contribute to overall departmental goals. Offer assistance during audits, special projects, or unforeseen staffing challenges.
Qualifications
- Experience: At least one year as a Staffing Coordinator in a nursing setting.
- Skills: Stellar communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
- Expertise: Proven experience in staffing coordination or a similar role.
