Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic, data-driven E-Commerce Director to lead and grow our online sales channels. This leader will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of e-commerce operations, including direct-to-consumer sales, third-party marketplace performance, and online retail partnerships with big-box stores. The ideal candidate will be a strong cross-functional collaborator, working closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to drive performance and improve the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the company's e-commerce strategy and execution.
- Oversee online sales through big-box retail partners, marketplaces, and owned direct-to-consumer channels.
- Supervise online payment systems and ensure a secure, seamless transaction experience.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Director to ensure digital marketing efforts (website, SEO, paid search, social media) are optimized to support e-commerce goals.
- Partner with product owners to ensure pricing strategies are competitive and aligned with market conditions and business goals.
- Monitor e-commerce sales performance, generate regular reports, and provide strategic recommendations on pricing, promotions, and advertising to boost revenue and profitability.
- Identify opportunities for sales growth, customer acquisition, and retention through the digital channel.
- Coordinate seasonal and product-specific promotions and campaigns, aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure optimal product placement and messaging on third-party retail sites and marketplaces.
- Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve the company's e-commerce capabilities.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in e-commerce, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of online retail, digital marketing, and omnichannel strategies.
- Experience working with or selling through big-box retailers and third-party marketplaces.
- Proven track record of increasing digital sales and managing e-commerce P&L.
- Skilled in analytics and data interpretation with a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Salary : $125,000 - $275,000
