Wood Sander – Manufacturing line position

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SANDER to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building wood furniture, be quality focused and possess a strong attention to detail.

Duties

· Primarily sanding wood components using hand sanders in multiple grits

· Sanding as needed in other parts of the shop including in between finish coats

· Visual quality inspections of parts as they are being handled / sanded

Requirements

· Proficiency in using typical HAND OPERATED wood working sanding tools including: powered and unpowered sanders

· Strong attention to detail and precision to 1/16" or better.

· Ideally furniture experience with natural wood and high grade plywood.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
