What are the responsibilities and job description for the Territory Sales Manager position at Beds by George, Inc.?
This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing, family-owned company that builds a product that truly makes a difference in people's lives. The product we sell is medical safety beds for special needs and disabled children and adults. We sell through a nationwide dealer network across the US and Canada.
This is territory management which means partnering with independent sales reps to sell to dealers, therapists, and families. This person’s primary activity is problem solving, quoting, teaching / presentations, and coordinating rep activity.
Job Summary
- Presentations: educational (in-services), trade shows
- Generate quotes
- Warranty
- Product Tech support
- Conduct Product Training on assembly, application, medical funding
- Building relationships with multiple sources
- Other general questions and assistance to dealers
- Talk to families to help select products / answer questions
- Develop Dealers within multi state territory
- Manage outside independent reps
- Travel on average 5 days a month – range is 2 days to 10
Qualifications and Skills
- Personable with purpose: able to relate easily to many types of people to clearly convey a message
- Excellent documentation and procedural skills
- Excellent presentation skills: public speaking and/or theater experience
- Good writing skills
- Mechanical aptitude – master technical features of our products
- Willingness to travel
- Competent with Word, Excel, Email
- Multi task – frequent interruptions
- College degree is not necessary if other aptitudes are present.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Cleared for international travel (Canada, Mexico)

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
