As a full-time Veterinary Surgical Assistant - Compliance Specialist, you will enjoy a consistent schedule with no weekend shifts! Your workweek will be:
- Monday & Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

As a Veterinary Surgical Assistant - Compliance Specialist, you will be at the heart of our surgical and compliance operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly. You will begin your mornings by assisting with surgical intakes, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring all necessary compliance protocols are met. Throughout the day, you will provide hands-on assistance, carefully monitoring vitals and ensuring every step of the process is seamless. Your expertise will extend beyond the operating room-you will perform dental radiographs and prophylaxis, assist with lab work, and educate clients on preventative care, surgical procedures, and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- 2 years of surgical assisting experience
- Experience with dental radiographs/prophylaxis, IV catheterization, venipuncture, and administering medications/vaccines/treatments as directed by a veterinarian
- Animal handling experience
- Radiology experience
- Proficiency with medical record-keeping and client education
- Strong customer service skills
