What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Planner position at Bee Company?
Bee Company is looking for an individual that can help expand and revamp our private events, both the presentation and the booking process (party guides, staged photos, event software) as well as working with the current management team to coordinate and staff all booked events.
POSTIION REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 yr. experience of event planning, coordinating or comparable experience in hospitality
- An ability to think creatively and find creative solutions for event booking options
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Familiar with the operations of event scheduling platforms, as well as Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative suite. Familiarity with Aloha and/or Toast POS systems
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Comfortable under pressure, professional conflict management and flexible yet steadfast in the face of a changing environment
- Assertive and organized with the ability to tackle tasks as needed as they arise throughout an event
- Calm and clear communication skills
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
- Certified in alcohol handling (TIP/RAMP Certification)
