Overview
A Worker Bee (organizer) is responsible for providing our clients with Compassionate, Confidential and Judgement-Free organizational services. Bees will work in a variety of locations throughout Northern VA, providing home organization, move and life transition, and/or concierge services.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Act in a stewardship capacity for Bee Organized, working as a functional member of the team with the ability to self-direct and self-regulate your workday.
- Provide a consistent line of communication between the Client, other Bees and Management.
- Review job overview, photos and estimated hours prior to project start.
- Connect with Co-Bee to split duties/establish a "game plan" prior to the work session.
- Make and/or deliver labels required.
- Take and record projects with Before & After photos.
- Be mindful of estimated hours and actual hours, and communicate with management if there is a variance.
- On multiple-day jobs, communicate the job status with the client at the end of each day and game plan for the following day or work session.
- Coordinate extra services (i.e. junk hauling, donation, pick-up, etc.)
- At the end of each job, walk the client through space to explain systems, locations, labels, growth areas and more.
- Drop off donations utilizing personal vehicle (1 car load maximum) and obtain receipt.
- Complete Job Overview form and email Management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Placement Criteria
- Embody a hard-working, non-judgmental, compassionate, enthusiastic mindset with a passion for organizing.
- Ability to work 8AM - 4PM three consecutive workdays per week. Most jobs are 9AM - 3PM.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the professional organizing industry.
- Demonstrated organization, facilitation and communication skills.
- Willingness to pack, coordinate and assist clients moving or in times of transition.
- Overall comfort with learning new software, apps and project tools as technology advances.
- Ability to prioritize workflow, organize diverse material, handle multiple competing and challenging priorities, and perform effectively without supervision and within established time limits and ongoing deadlines.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally and provide exceptional service, both internally and externally, at all times.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, squat, and bend. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. The employee must be able to communicate fluently in English. Must have a personal vehicle and the ability to travel , sometimes with short notice, to the project location.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.84 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 30 per week
