Overview
A Worker Bee is responsible for providing our clients with Compassionate, Confidential, and Judgement Free organizational services. Bees will work in various locations throughout Delaware and Chester County areas, providing home organization, move & life transition, and/or concierge services.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Act in a stewardship capacity for Bee Organized, working as a functional team member with the ability to self-direct and self-regulate your workday.
- Provide a consistent line of communication between the Client, other Bees, and Management.
- Review job overview, pictures, and estimated hours before the project starts.
- Connect with Co-Bee to split duties/establish a “game plan” before the work session.
- Purchase any required materials / manage receipts / return any unused items.
- Make and/or deliver labels required.
- Take and record projects with Before & After pictures.
- Be mindful of estimated hours and actual hours, communicating to Management if there might be a variance.
- On multiple-day jobs, communicate the status of the job with the client at the end of each day and game plan for the following day or work session.
- Coordinate extra services (i.e. junk hauling, donation pick-up, etc.).
- At the end of the job, walk the client through space to explain systems, locations, labels, growth areas, and more.
- Drop off donations utilizing a personal vehicle (1 car load maximum) and obtain a receipt.
- Write a Thank You note from all Bees on the job at the end of the project.
- Communicate material expenses to management upon conclusion of the project and turn in receipts for purchases.
- Complete the Job Overview form and email Management.
- Manage supply bag inventory and communicate replenishment needs as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Compensation
Beginning pay for this position is $22 per hour.
This is a part-time, non-exempt position, meaning you are eligible for overtime at 1.5 times your regular hourly rate of pay for hours worked over 40 in any work week.
Placement Criteria
- Ability to work three consecutive weekdays per week, typically from 9 AM to 3 PM.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the professional organizing industry. - Demonstrated skills in organization, facilitation, and communication.
- Willingness to pack, coordinate, and assist clients during moves or times of transition.
- Overall comfort with learning new software, apps, and project tools as technology evolves.
- Ability to prioritize workflow, organize diverse materials, and handle multiple, competing, and changing priorities effectively.
- Ability to perform without supervision while meeting established time limits and ongoing deadlines.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally, providing exceptional service both internally and externally at all times.

Physical Demands
**Physical Demands** While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and listen. The employee must be able to communicate fluently in English. They frequently use their hands and arms to handle, feel, and reach. The employee will be required to stand, walk, squat, bend, and drive or ride in a motor vehicle. Occasional lifting or moving of up to 40 lbs. is required. A personal vehicle and the ability to travel to project locations, sometimes on short notice, are also necessary.
