This individual provides direct patient care as the Center's Nurse Practitioner according to established protocols, policies, procedures, and accepted standards of care. Functions within approved scope and credentials as approved by Beebe Healthcare credentialing committee. Follow established nursing standards, procedures, and practices, and gives specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff.
Responsibilities
1.1Provide accurate and timely assessment. evaluation and treatment of patients from six (6) months to the geriatric population.1.2Diagnostics- Ability to accurately interpret electrocardiogram and lab tests results.1.3Provide accurate and timely diagnosis and care management to patients with chronic illnesses, such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus and asthma.1.4Promote disease prevention by using effective risk assessment, coaching and counseling skills.1.5As appropriate, provide timely and accurate completion of Annual Medicare Wellness physicals in accordance with Beebe Medical Group policy and Medicare guidelines.1.6Ability to appropriately handle unexpected emergent medical situations.1.7Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with patients, co-workers and healthcare providers.1.8Possess an energetic, compassionate and efficient work ethic with strong organizational skills and effective customer service skills.1.9Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to working at other Primary Care locations within Beebe Medical Group as necessary.Qualifications
2 - 4 years experience.
