">This Physician Assistant provides direct patient care according to established protocols, policies, procedures, and accepted standards of care at Beebe Health Care.
The individual functions within approved scope and credentials as approved by Beebe Health Care credentialing committee.
Responsibilities include assessing, evaluating, and treating patients from 6 months through the geriatric population, accurately and timely.
The PA evaluates and treats medical and surgical illness in patients from 6 months through geriatric population.
Promotes prevention using risk assessment, coaching, and counseling.
Other responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of foreign bodies, skin abscesses, nosebleeds, and simple lacerations.
The PA also manages general orthopedic injuries, including ordering x-rays, proper splinting, and treatment of simple fractures.
The ideal candidate has clear communication skills, both written and verbal, and is able to keep confidential information regarding patients, team members.
They are able to withstand crisis situations and have skills to provide customer service to patients, team members, and visitors.
Knowledge and experience with electronic health records is required.
