Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Acute care nursing experience (3-5 years preferred) in similar clinical specialty
- Charge Nurse, Coordinator or supervisory experience a plus
Competencies Skills
- Experience in hospital or acute care setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patients and team members.
- Ability to manage crisis situations effectively.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to patients, team members, and visitors.
- Knowledge and experience with electronic health records.
Credentials
Essential
*RN license
*Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification (American Heart Association)
*Advanced Cardiac Life Saving (ACLS) certification
*NIH Stroke Certification
Education
Essential:
- BSN in Nursing or RN diploma/RN graduate program with Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Active pursuit of MSN if not possessing a BSN
