What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Cashier position at Beech Bend Park?
Cashiers are responsible for placing orders, taking payments, and preparing orders to serve to customers quickly and professionally. Line Cooks must operate and properly maintain all cooking equipment and its corresponding prep station in order to keep a clean and safe work environment. All employees must maintain the highest level of customer service standards, while escalating all customer concerns and complaints to higher management. It is important that one obtains knowledge of the park facilities and amenities in order to assist customers. Cashiers must be able to count money and make change, as well as receiving cash, credit/debit cards, vouchers, etc. as payments. Various other duties and responsibilities are assigned.
Must be at least 14 years old; 16 years old to be a prep cook. Excellent verbal communication and basic math skills a must. Needs to be aware, attentive, work well with others, and willing to accept guidance and supervision. Ability to sit/ stand for extended periods of time. Will need to complete a food handling course, which will be provided. Must be available to work on operating holidays.
