What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ride Operator (Seasonal) position at Beech Bend Park?
Duties and Responsibilities: Ride operators are responsible for operating ride controls in all weather conditions. They must verbally communicate and enforce safety rules. Assist guests in entering/existing ride vehicles. Will test safety equipment prior to ride operations. Maintain a calm demeanor and act quickly in emergency situations. Visually observes guests and ride in order to prevent safety hazards and ensure safety equipment is intact. Ensure friendly interactions with guests. Maintain a clean ride environment. Complete a “safety scan” as required to ensure operational safety. Follow safety standards at all times.
Qualifications: Must be at least 16 years old. Must be willing to work in a team environment and be willing to accept guidance and supervision. Must remain attentive and alert at all times. Ability to work in all weather conditions and take the proper health precautions to ensure personal health safety. Ability to comprehend instructions and retain information. Must enforce park regulations and policies (height restrictions, weight restrictions, riding positions, etc.) Willingness to work in any assigned attractions area and perform other functions as assigned. Must maintain a friendly composure with guests and willingness to help answer any questions they may have. Ability to sit/ stand for extended periods of time. Must be available to work on operating holidays.

Pay: $12.00 - $12.50 per hour
