What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slide Attendant position at Beech Bend Park?

Duties and Responsibilities: Slide Attendants are responsible for operating the top and bottom of waterslides. They must be able to enforce facility and water slide rules in order to ensure the safety of guests. They will work closely with co-workers in order to signal and communicate when riders may safely enter/exit their slide/tube. Must be able to respond quickly and accurately. Be able to provide superior guest services by composing yourself in a polite, professional manner. Be knowledgeable of park policies and procedures in order to assist customers with all questions about the facilities layout and amenities. Maintaining a neat and clean environment by assisting in waterpark beautification at the end of each day.
Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively to guests and staff members and accept guidance and supervision. Must be 16 years of age to operate. Ability to work in extreme weather conditions is a must, as well as being responsible enough to take the appropriate health precautions such as staying hydrated and applying sun-protection. It is extremely important that the Slide Attendants be aware and attentive to guests to ensure their safety.

Pay: $11.00 - $11.50 per hour
