We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor for planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, budgeting, and physical management of the Laundry, and housekeeping department's employees and equipment in a way that maximizes cleanliness and order throughout the building and assures laundry services for both resident clothing and facility linen are maintained.

Housekeeping Supervisors must have the following:

• A high school diploma is preferred.
• Prior long-term care facility experience required.
• Some business and personnel management training is also preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and IDPH Regulations relevant to housekeeping and laundry departments.
  
  
  

As a skilled, driven Housekeeping Supervisor, you will:

• Obtain staff by recruiting, interviewing, and verifying references in order to employ the number and kinds of personnel needed.
• Supervise scheduling of sufficient staff to ensure uninterrupted service to the facility and residents at all times.
• Supervise purchasing, storage, and distribution of all housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry supplies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Administrator.
• Work as weekend Supervisor as part of the Department Head monthly rotation.
• Maintain all housekeeping, and laundry equipment in operating condition.
