The Staffing Coordinator/Central Supply Clerk must have the following:

• Prior Experience Scheduling in a SNF required.
• A working knowledge of how to schedule staff.
• Solid computer and email skills.
• Experience working in a long-term care setting required.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions in certain circumstances.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and able to handle stress.
• Must be energetic, professional, and reliable.
  
  
  

As the Staffing Coordinator, you will:

• Be responsible for scheduling the facility nursing staff (RN’s, LPN’s, C.N.A.’s) through preparation and maintenance of daily and monthly schedules.
• Ensure that vacancies are identified, communicated, and posted and assists in filling vacancies.
• Takes calls regarding schedule changes (tardies, call off’s, etc) and adjusts schedule to ensure coverage.
• Coordinate with facility leadership (DON/Administrator) to ensure adequate staffing ratios are maintained.
• Assist in the recruitment and retention of staff.
  
  
  

As the Central Supply Clerk, you will:

• Order, stock, and inventory all purchases of nursing supplies.
• Unloads and puts away new stock in supply room.
• Maintains and understands FIFO rule
• Understands budgets, and PPD’s and how to maintain them.
• Keeps nursing units stocked and supplied per PAR levels.
