We are looking for high level activity talent to bring the daily living experience to new levels for our residents/patients. One of the most important part of their day is interacting with others through daily happenings with staff and other residents. It is a time to visit with others and enjoy something different in their day. Our activities staff is the key to making all that possible.

The Activity Director will:
- Develop an ongoing program for group and individual activities based on the residents’ needs, interest, and abilities as identified in assessment / care plans
- Participate in care plan meetings
- Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy
- Create the monthly activity calendar
- Provide training and in-services
- Implement and maintain established policies and procedures
- Guide, lead and provide motivation for participation in Resident Council, schedule monthly meetings
- Lead, establish, supervise and maintain the volunteer program
Activity Director must have the following:
- High School Diploma
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a long term setting is preferred
