What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Director of Operations position at Beechwood Hotel Group?
Looking for an experienced hotelier to join our Management Team in our Florida Region.

You will train and improve functions of the assigned hotel under the policies and practices of the company while achieving improving guest satisfaction, employee morale, targeted profitability, and complying with federal and state regulations and brand requirements. The Regional Managers’ role is to provide leadership, training, supervision, and support to the hotels they are assigned, making measurable improvement during the assignment. You must be able to change and grow and adapt, be passionate about details and hospitality, and a team leader and doer.
Job Expectations
- Conduct weekly calls with hotels to follow up on action plans, open positions, staffing levels, SALT/guest service scores, and any other items as directed by Senior Director of Operations and company Managing Member
- Weekly summary for hotels within your region (FL and ND)
- Action plans for each area you trained the hotels in
- Ensure each department focuses on service and satisfaction of each guest
- Be professional and courteous in all interactions with guests
- You will be expected to raise STAR and Guest Stay Experience Scores in all hotels – BHG goal is in the top 10% of brand
- Ensure all training is up to date and certifications are maintained for all team members
- Preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and rooms is timely completed
- Grounds and property display a high level of curb appeal and pride
- Focus on increasing F&B revenues in the restaurants and lounges
- RDO will provide oversight of any capital improvement projects (PIP, Refresh, Renovations, etc..) as directed by CEO and company Vice President. RDO is responsible for supervising and ensuring daily tasks are completed to the scope of work.
- You will be expected to train MOD’s wherever you are
- Develop depth on the team through cross-training when possible
- Train property GM’s and comply with all company accounting standards, policies, and procedures
- Ensure GM’s manage accounts receivables to ensure properties receive timely payments
- Ensure GM’s code bills and submit promptly to avoid late fees
- Ensure GM’s maintain appropriate handling of petty cash and reconcile according to guidelines
- Ensure GM’s control expenses to maintain budget and profit goals
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
