The primary responsibility is working with the management company, your counterpart in revenue, general managers and sales teams to drive premium top line revenues with the end result of exceeding targeted revenue goals / RevPAR. This includes developing new accounts, maintaining and maximizing existing accounts, training, motivation and supervision of sales and catering teams to create sales, the marketing strategies, and the annual sales plans. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Revenue Management.
Direct Selling
- Identify and manage regional accounts with opportunity to bring incremental revenue to multiple hotels for all segments.

Lead and motivate teams and facilitate group meetings, direct multiple projects simultaneously.Conduct on-site hotel visits in conjunction with the priorities set by the company. Meet with the General Manager to outline the objectives of each visit, and expectations for follow-up. Work with Directors of Sales and Sales Managers to create and monitor sales plans to drive market share according to local market demand.Uncover information about each key competitor hotel client base and key sales personnel.Responsibilities include monitoring segment production, DOS direct sales activity, Review and understand metrics and data included in a variety of reports to ensure maximization of revenue. Review monthly financial reports and monitors hotel budgets to ensure all revenue opportunities are being taken advantage of.Perform training and coaching to include reinforcing and guiding hotel Directors of Sales and Sales Managers on the sales process. Mentor, coach and train Directors of Sales and Sales Managers on the proper way to prospect and identify sales leads from within the local market, in-house guests, walk-ins and close the business through proper pricing and negotiating techniques.Responsible for finding and / or filling temporary hotel sales management coverage in the case of long-term absence of a Director of Sales / Sales Manager.Problem Solving Skills
