Assisted living facility in St. Clair Shores has an immediate opening for dietary aide:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Setting up tables for residents (water, coffee, juice, silverware)
- Serving dinner plates to Residents
- Sweeping and mopping dietary areas
- Dishwashing
- Wiping down tables and chairs
- Work together as a team with the Dining Services Director and Cooks
- Other job duties as needed
Great Candidate Qualifications
- Full-time and Part-time positions available
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays required as needed
- Flexibility to work different shifts preferred
- Shift times are between 6a-7p: 6am-2:30pm, 3p-7p, 10:30a-7p, 6:30a-7p
- Experience in dining services or similar environment preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, compassionate service
- Able to communicate and problem solve with team members as a mature, responsible individual
- The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum or 40lbs and the ability to move about the facility quickly and to be able to physically assist residents/or staff in the event of an emergency
- Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting
- Must posses a valid drivers license or state ID
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Reliability and punctuality required
