Beef-a-Roo has been dedicated to serving fresh handmade meals at affordable prices. Our famously delicious, fast-casual restaurants offer classic roast beef, wraps, specialty sandwiches, burgers, salads, and a selection of heart-healthy foods. Our famous cheese fries are smothered in liquid gold and are a local favorite.
We are looking for an Assistant General Manager to operate our new location in Warsaw, IN. This individual will report directly to their General Manager. They will be responsible for assisting in the overseeing of the people, processes, operations, and profitability of our newest Beef-a-Roo restaurant. You will help drive continuous improvement in day-to-day operations; train, coach, & support your team; plan and set goals; focus on problem solving/process improvement; set standards; recognize and motivate team members.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide leadership and coaching to ensure standardized execution and guest experience to promote optimal guest satisfaction.
- Leads the way by working with each team member to deliver profit goals and meet targeted flow-thru objectives; utilize available reports to identify opportunities; encourages a top-line orientation through operational focus; ensures that correct operational procedures are followed at all times.
- Work with the General Manager to meet current growth targets and beat year over year execution.
- Uncompromising execution of the highest standards of OSHA, local health and safety codes, and company safety and security policy.
- Build and develop high performing teams through onboarding and company training initiatives.
- Aggressively develops and maintains staffing levels; monitors staffing levels to anticipate sales seasonality.
- Promote morale and employee satisfaction by leading recognition and motivation efforts daily
- Never compromise in creating and maintaining a safe environment for employees and guests.
- Resolution oriented in all Employee Relations (ER) activities; is proactive in addressing ER needs in the market.
What You’ll Need:
- One to three years management experience.
- Strong communication; able to adjust communication to multiple levels of team members and guests
- Able to multitask and maintain composure during high volume sales
- Great interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
- Basic personal computer literacy
- Exceptional team building capability; demonstrated track record of workplace achievement in the selection, coaching and development of managerial employees
- Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance, and employee satisfaction
