Job Overview

Immediately Hiring, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to the restaurant's menu standards, ensuring high-quality food is consistently served. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and clean work environment while providing excellent service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards, ensuring food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Station Setup: Set up and stock your assigned cooking station with the necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment before service.
• Food Presentation: Ensure that all dishes are presented according to restaurant standards, with attention to detail in plating and garnishing.
• Quality Control: Maintain consistency and high quality in the preparation and presentation of food items. Address any issues with food quality during service.
• Cleaning & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized, and assist in maintaining overall kitchen cleanliness.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of stock levels for your station and communicate with the Kitchen Manager about inventory needs.
• Teamwork & Communication: Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth and efficient service. Communicate any issues or special requests with the kitchen manager or other staff members.
• Food Safety & Hygiene: Follow all food safety guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role.
• Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistency in food preparation.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
