Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. We own 5 small Assisted Living Facilities from Page, Arizona to St. George, Utah. This job will require some travel every month- so you'll need a reliable truck and hopefully, you have some basic tools. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set and be capable of performing various maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on residential properties.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify issues that need attention.
- Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including the use of an ohmmeter for electrical repairs.
- Address plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and installations.
- Handle minor carpentry tasks including repairs, installations, and adjustments.
- Assist with painting and drywall repairs as needed.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients or management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as an ohmmeter.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites.
- Flexibility to work varying hours based on project needs.
