Beehive Homes of Rio Rancho is currently seeking a caregiver for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday overnights 7p-7a , and Monday- Thursday 11p-7a 204 Silent Springs Dr Rio Rancho NM 87124
We have a variety of residents with different care needs from walking, wheelchair-bound, dementia, diabetics, catheters, and residents on hospice. We care for people all the way through end-of-life care and it is important for any of our staff to have empathy for your residents, their families, and your co-workers.
Requirements
· 18 years or older
· High School Diploma or GED
· Professional caregiving experience of at least 1 year (preferred)
· Pass a national background check and drug screening
· Ability to lift 50 pounds
· Pass a medication technician test
Job Descriptions and Responsibilities
· Assist the residents with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) while maintaining the resident's dignity, privacy, and confidentiality which includes but are not limited to:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Transferring
- Toileting
- Continence Care
- Eating
· Monitor and vital signs including
- Temperature
- Respiration
- Blood pressure
- Medication management
· Prepare light meals and snacks
· Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
· Safety supervision
· Complete yearly training
· Basic computer skills
· Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards our residents, visitors, families, and staff.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
