Position Overview: The House Manager at BeeHive Homes of Albuquerque West plays a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment for our residents. This position involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and coordinating resident care services with compassion, efficiency, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Staff Management:
· Schedule and manage caregiver shifts to ensure appropriate staffing.
· Provide orientation, training, supervision, and support to caregiving staff.
· Facilitate team meetings to enhance communication and caregiving practices.
· Address staff concerns, performance issues, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
2. Resident Care Coordination:
· Ensure personalized care plans are developed, implemented, and regularly reviewed.
· Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and healthcare providers to manage care needs.
· Oversee medication management procedures and ensure compliance with state regulations.
· Respond promptly and compassionately to resident concerns and emergencies.
3. Operational Oversight:
· Maintain compliance with state regulations, policies, and procedures.
· Oversee home maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
· Manage inventory and ordering of necessary supplies and medications.
· Maintain accurate documentation and records relating to resident care, staffing, and operations.
4. Community Engagement:
· Foster a homelike and engaging environment for residents.
· Plan and oversee social activities and events to promote resident wellness and community interaction.
· Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and the broader community, maintaining open and proactive communication.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years' experience in assisted living or healthcare management.
· Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
· Knowledge of state regulations governing assisted living facilities.
· Ability to respond effectively and compassionately to emergencies and sensitive situations.
· Proficiency with basic computer software (Microsoft Office, resident management systems).
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to perform necessary tasks, including assisting residents if required.
· Capable of moving throughout the facility to oversee operations and provide support as needed.
