We are a 41-suite assisted living community dedicated to caring for seniors with dementia. To carry out our mission, we need someone like you! A Resident Assistant who has experience working in assisted living / memory care. Someone who thrives in a small, family-like work environment. - Shifts Available :
- Days : 6 : 00 am - 2 : 00 pm or 7 : 00 am - 1 : 00 pm
- Evenings : 2 : 00 pm - 10 : 00 pm or 4 : 00 pm - 9 : 00 pm
- Overnights : 10 : 00 pm - 6 : 00 am
- A Day in The Life :
- Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing / undressing, toileting, personal hygiene, and other duties as directed.
- Follows scheduled reminders for resident ADLs.
- Checks residents routinely to ensure that their personal care needs are being met.
- Performs housekeeping and laundry tasks to keep the community clean and refreshed
- Has a solid understanding of the dementia process.
- Must communicate effectively team members,residents, and resident families.
- Completes delegated nursing tasks as assigned.
- Maintains a professional demeanor in demanding situations.
- Education and Experience :
- 1-2 years’ health care industry experience preferred.
- Dementia / Memory Care training a plus, but will be provided.
- CNA certification preferred.
- Wage is base on years of experience.
- Must-Have’s :
- Follows all policies and procedures.
- Must receive a "not disqualified"criminal background result and may not be on the OIG exclusions list.
