Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor patients' health and report any changes in condition to appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.
- Implement care plans as directed by healthcare providers, tailoring support to meet individual needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering positive relationships with clients.
- Lift and transfer clients safely as needed, using proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Administer CPR and first aid in emergencies, ensuring the safety of clients at all times.
- Uphold resident rights by respecting privacy and promoting autonomy in decision-making.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home health or personal care is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and dietary restrictions is a plus.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring practices and care plan implementation.
- Certification in CPR or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others maintain their quality of life.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and assist with mobility as required.
