Position Summary:
As a Park Team Member / Party Host, you'll be responsible for engaging with guests, supervising activities, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and ensuring our birthday parties run smoothly. This dual role is ideal for someone who loves working with kids, has strong people skills, and enjoys creating positive, energetic experiences for families.
Key Responsibilities:
General Park Duties:
- Monitor guests to ensure a safe and fun environment
- Stay alert and attentive at all times while supervising play areas
- Communicate park rules clearly and kindly
- Keep a calm, friendly demeanor in high-energy and noisy settings
- Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the facility in top shape
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions
- Other tasks as assigned by management
Party Host Duties:
- Set up and clean party rooms before and after each party
- Greet party families and ensure they feel welcomed and cared for
- Serve food and beverages to guests, including cutting and distributing cake
- Distribute party favors and assist with any special activities
- Keep parties running on schedule and coordinate with kitchen and team staff
- Anticipate the needs of party parents and provide excellent customer service throughout
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be 17 years of age or older
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Available to work weekends and holidays
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and maintaining authority
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Able to work in a physically active and fast-paced environment
Job Type: Part-time
