This role can be located at our Englewood, Colorado or Loveland, Ohio facility.Role Overview : The Director of Public Relations and Communications is seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, results-driven, and creative leader to lead our communications and PR strategy. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of our external and internal communications, including media relations, advisor communications and executive visibility. You will work to grow our brand presence, enhance our reputation and deliver high-impact results.Responsible for the following areas within Beehive : Working with the functional organizations to create internal communications aligned with company strategyProvide support to HR in creating content to support recruiting, retention, and employee engagement activitiesWork with business leadership to create external communicationsSupporting Beehive brand consistency and developmentSupporting investor relations and communicationsCreating social and content in line with overall product and brand strategyCollaborating with external agencies to support the above objectivesResponsible for building a social media strategy that targets key stakeholdersPreference that the ideal candidate has established relationships with major media outlets (ex. Aviation Week)Develop and execute media engagement strategy to drive awareness, advocacy, and commercial successOther responsibilities may include : speech writing, video development, internal & external newsletters, and talking point development & disseminationRequired Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.10 years of progressive experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field.Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive communications strategies that align with organizational goals and deliver measurable results.Hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, legal, HR, and senior leadership, to align messaging and ensure compliance with industry regulations.Preferred Qualifications : Aerospace or defense industry experience is preferred.Advanced proficiency in digital communication tools, social media platforms, and emerging PR technologies.Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing abilities, with an eye for detail and a knack for crafting compelling narratives.Organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize projects while working on a deadline or in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.If this sounds like you, please submit an application with your resume.
