This role will be located at our Loveland, Ohio facility.
Role Overview :
The Manager, Engine Design will be responsible for developing hardware for an engine program and leading a group of designers toward that common goal.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and oversee the integrity of engine cross sections and assembly-level models
- Act as the technical owner for all mechanical aspects of the engine, including fits, seals, mounts, joints, and other components.
- Develop and implement plans for assembly and disassembly for both development and production.
- Develop and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), including weight estimates for components and assemblies.
- Provide final approval on hardware drawings for manufacturing, ensuring they meet fit, form, and function requirements.
- Help establish and uphold companywide design standards and best practices.
- Work closely with engineers to design, analyze, and evaluate turbomachinery components and assemblies using sound engineering principles and industry standards.
- Create Definitions for Parts and Assemblies
Develop 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stackups, and electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, and assembly.
Provide guidance on improving product designs through additive manufacturing techniques.

Address team challenges and resolve conflicts effectively to maintain a productive work environment.
