Role Overview :
We are seeking a Procurement Director, that will manage all procurement activities across our multi-site operation. The Procurement Director will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring compliance to all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives for each specific commodity.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products and services.
- Monitor and control procurement budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost-effective procurement practices.
- Continue to develop robust procurement processes and drive maturity in procurement processes and systems.
- Ensure vendor and product compliance across enterprise and compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to procurement and supply chain management and Department of Defense regulations.
- Lead and mentor the procurement / purchasing team, providing guidance and support to achieve company goals as well as personal development.
- Work closely with other departments, including finance, IT, manufacturing programs and operations, to ensure seamless procurement processes and support organizational needs.
